Position:  Information Systems Assistant

FSLA Status:  Exempt

Reports To:  Information Systems Manager

Salary Range:  $30,000 - $45,000

Education Premium:  $1,200 for Bachelor’s Degree

Educational/ Qualifications Required:  Associate Degree in Information Technology; Demonstrated proficient skills in advanced computer software/technology including the following:

bulletMicrosoft Office Professional 2003 – Excel / Access / Word
bulletMicrosoft Exchange 2003 / Outlook

Demonstrated effective verbal and communications skills; Ability to interact positively in a culturally diverse environment; Ability to learn to program and maintain applications in Microsoft Visual Basic. 

Preferred:  Experience with Microsoft Access Database programming in Microsoft VBA, VB6 or VB.net; Knowledgeable in configuration of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory.

General Description:  This position has the primary responsibility for monitoring and verifying the accuracy of the information contained in the company database and providing daily technology support to the company staff.  Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Document operational processes utilizing flow charts and step-by-step instructions
  2. User setup and configuration
  3. Work closely with the Information Systems Manager on monthly billing
  4. Generate and analyze reports daily/weekly for missing, incomplete or improper data and facilitate corrections or entry of data
  5. Installing, modifying or troubleshooting software on staff computers, as needed
  6. Training staff on computer operations and support in use of computer programs
  7. System troubleshooting at the direction of and in the absence of the I.S. Manager
  8. Web site development and maintenance
  9. Employee back-up for the Data Entry clerks
  10. Any and all other duties as assigned

 

Title: Youth Investment Counselor

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $30,000 - $43,000

Education Premium: $3,200 for Master’s

Required:

bulletBachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice or related field from a fully accredited college and/or university.
bulletTwo (2) to four (4) years of experience working with population and their families.
bulletKnowledge of individual and family therapeutic interventions based on solution-focused, strength-based clinical models.
bulletAbility to work effectively on a treatment team.
bulletValid driver’s license.

Preferred:

bulletMaster’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice or related field from a fully accredited college and/or university.
bulletResidency in Wayne County.

General Description:

Act as liaison between the CMO and providers by overseeing the treatment, care and outcomes of juvenile justice services to eligible Wayne County youth committed to the WCJA. The Care Manager will have an understanding of and commitment to a system of care approach that supports community based, strength based treatment of enrolled youth and their families. The Goal is to empower families to construct solutions to problems, identify strengths and set realistic goals that move families toward long term and lasting solutions by using a restorative justice framework. Caseloads will be built upon the standards of 20:1 for community-based care and 50:1 for residential care.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

bulletDevelop, implement and monitor plans of care for the target population.
bulletCoordinate and link services between the CMO family and providers to best serve the customer’s needs. Advocate for the customer’s needs.
bulletProvide family and individual counseling in the customer’s environment (home, foster home, residential placement, etc.) when appropriate.
bulletPerforms on-call crisis intervention services via telephone or face-to-face with customers as needed. Telephone response time not to exceed 20 minutes, and face-to-face response time not to exceed 30 minutes.
bulletAssures that the company’s standards and operations comply with all pertinent local, state and federal regulations, along with company’s accrediting body.
bulletContact family members, schools, and other agencies within the community to ensure that the support systems are in place to provide assistance to customers. Coordinates said services by utilizing a wraparound approach.
bulletParticipates in initial and ongoing training with respect to structured decision making instruments and solution focused therapy.

Aetna

StarrVista offers voluntary dental insurance through Aetna. Employees can select the DMO or PPO benefit. Choosing the DMO benefit will enable employees to choose an Aetna Dentist within the DMO network that will allow greater benefits at a lower cost. For greater freedom of choice, employees can elect the PPO benefit, which allows one to select any dentist. Care Choices HMO*

Benefits include:

No deductible

Most services covered at 100%

Coverage for preventive health care

$0 office visit co-pay

$0 emergency room co-pay

$5 generic/ $10 brand-name prescription drug co-pay (including contraceptives)

Mail order prescription drug program (two co-pays for a 90 day supply)

Full vision coverage. Exams and lenses are allowed once every 12 months and frames are allowed once every 24 months.

M-Care HMO*

Benefits include:

No deductible

Most services covered at 100%

Coverage for preventive health care

$10 office visit co-pay

$50 emergency room co-pay (waived if admitted)

Long Term Disability (LTD)– Prudential Financial

StarrVista provides LTD through Prudential Financial. Features of the plan include:

Pays 60% of your base monthly earnings to a maximum of $5,000 per month

Benefits begin after 90 days of disability

Benefits are payable to age 65 and can be offset by social security, workers compensation, etc.

Benefits are taxable upon receipt.

Pooled Time Off (PTO)*

Pooled time off is calculated as follows:

0-4 years of continued service will accrue up to 120 hours (15 days)

5-10 years of continued service will accrue up to 160 hours (20 days)

11+ years of continued services will accrue up to 200 hours (25 days)
